Welcome to Squirrels Class
A warm welcome from Mrs Halsall (Mon-Wed), Mrs Penny (Thurs-Fri), Mrs Wilkinson (Mon pm) and Mrs Pacey (Mon-Thurs) who will be teaching and supporting your child this year. Mrs Tava will also be working in the class Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. A member of the team is available at the classroom gate before and after school if you have a quick question or query about your child.

| Homework | Books are changed on a Monday. Children take 2 books home to read and reread over the week. Homework slips are put into book folders each Friday. Part of the homework always involves daily reading and phonics practise. Some weeks there will also be some red words (high frequency words) to practise reading and then spelling. There may be an additional task linked to our learning from one subject that week. This can be completed on paper and handed in or you may talk about it together and write/email a quick note to let us know what you did. |
